Food for Life 7-10 offers an accessible approach to the new Australian Curriculum Design and Technologies Version 9.0 Food specialisations sub-strand and caters for state Food Technology curriculums. The focus on skills development meets students at their point of understanding and offers a design-driven approach to developing food skills for now and the future. Written by experienced and enthusiastic teachers, Food for Life 7-10 develops knowledge and understanding that empowers students to make informed food choices inside and outside of the classroom. New, contemporary recipes, including Indigenous ingredients, and examples of ethical and sustainable food systems encourage students to interact with food studies in new and varied ways. The Interactive Textbook includes practical activities, tools to understand food terminology with ease, and compelling video demonstrations and content. The Teacher Resource Package includes additional activities, suggested solutions, curriculum grids and course planners. Please note the Interactive textbook isn’t included in the Teacher Resource Package.
Teacher Resource Package
Downloadable teacher support materials are available for purchase separately as a unique 16-character code. Once purchased the resources can be downloaded through a Cambridge GO teacher account and stored on your school network.
The Teacher Resource Package can be accessed via Cambridge GO, using the enclosed 16-character access code. The code may be activated once only in one unique teacher account. Downloaded materials may be placed on your school network for use by other teachers at your school and are available through Cambridge GO for a period 5 years after activation. The Interactive Textbook and Offline/PDF Textbook are not included in the Teacher Resource Package. These are available via the access code on the inside of your teacher copy of the student book or available for purchase separately from our online store or your Education bookseller.
