Stephen Broderick
Stephen Broderick has been teaching in Toowoomba for 34 years and was Mathematics Coordinator for 22 years. He has presented many mathematics enrichment workshops for both teachers and students over the years. His main areas of interest include STEM, Mathematical Modelling and Astronomy.
Michael Gardiner
Michael Gardiner is a Senior Mathematics Teacher at a state school in South-East Brisbane. He is currently a Lead Endorser and a Member of the Scrutiny Panel for Mathematical Methods for QCAA. He is also a member of the Mathematics C panel for the South East Brisbane District. Michael has worked in curriculum development and teacher development for the last 10 years and is well known for his creative and alternative ideas to mathematical practices.
Chicri Maksoud
Chicri Maksoud was a Senior Mathematics Teacher who has taught all levels of mathematics for over 35 years and has been a Mathematics B panellist for over 10 years. Chicri is currently a consultant to the Cambridge Mathematical Methods and Cambridge Specialist Mathematics courses for Queensland. Chicri passed away in early 2022. He is much missed by family, friends, colleagues and students.
Robert Nelder
Robert Nelder was Head of Department in Mathematics in Education Queensland schools for 35 years. Prior to that he taught Mathematics and Science for 10 years with one year as Subject Master in Science. Robert takes an interest in presenting enrichment work to students and teachers, and has experience with external examinations.
Steve Sisson
Stephen Sisson is the Curriculum Leader at his school in Rochedale, Queensland. He has acted as a consultant in the development of the General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and Special Mathematics texts for the Cambridge Senior Mathematics for Queensland series.
