Join two of our Cambridge Society and Culture Stage 6 authors as they explore the Personal Interest Project and the HSC Core:

Kendra Bruseker will explore what makes Rwanda an ideal country study within Continuity and Change, in the HSC core unit, focusing on:

• the contemporary nature of change in Rwanda 
• how its colonial history and the experience of the 1994 genocide have helped it become one of the most gender progressive countries in the world 
• how its legacy of genocide and those who committed war crimes has also led many to question the legitimacy of their progress. 

Elizabeth Howard will break down the key components of the Personal Interest Project (PIP), including:

• a timeline for progressive instruction 
• clarification of the requirements of each aspect of the project 
• facilitation of the PIP as a major work in the context of the students’ broader HSC experience.
